. 41. THE TEN MINAS
Λουκάς 19:11 Και καθώς άκουσαν αυτά, πρόσθεσε και είπε μια παραβολή, επειδή ήταν κοντά στην Ιερουσαλήμ, και επειδή νόμιζαν ότι η βασιλεία του Θεού έπρεπε να εμφανιστεί αμέσως.
Luke 19:11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
Λουκάς 19:12 Είπε, λοιπόν, κάποιος ευγενής πήγε σε μια μακρινή χώρα για να λάβει για τον εαυτό του ένα βασίλειο και να επιστρέψει.
Luke 19:12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
Λουκάς 19:13 Και κάλεσε τους δέκα δούλους του, και τους παρέδωσε δέκα λίρες, και τους είπε: Καταλάβετε μέχρι να έρθω.
Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Λουκάς 19:14 Αλλά οι πολίτες του τον μισούσαν, και έστειλαν μήνυμα πίσω του, λέγοντας: Δεν θα έχουμε αυτόν τον [άνθρωπο] να βασιλεύει πάνω μας.
Luke 19:14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this [man] to reign over us.
Λουκάς 19:15 Και συνέβη ώστε όταν επέστρεψε, έχοντας λάβει τη βασιλεία, τότε διέταξε να κληθούν κοντά του αυτούς τους υπηρέτες, στους οποίους είχε δώσει τα χρήματα, για να μάθει πόσα είχε κερδίσει ο καθένας από το εμπόριο.
Luke 19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
Λουκάς 19:16 Τότε ήρθε ο πρώτος, λέγοντας: Κύριε, η λίρα σου κέρδισε δέκα λίρες.
Luke 19:16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
Λουκάς 19:17 Και του είπε: Λοιπόν, καλός δούλε, επειδή ήσουν πιστός σε πολύ λίγα, έχεις εξουσία σε δέκα πόλεις.
Luke 19:17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
Λουκάς 19:18 Και ήρθε ο δεύτερος, λέγοντας: Κύριε, η λίρα σου κέρδισε πέντε λίρες.
Luke 19:18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
Λουκάς 19:19 Και του είπε το ίδιο: Να είσαι και εσύ πάνω από πέντε πόλεις.
Luke 19:19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
Λουκάς 19:20 Και ήρθε ένας άλλος, λέγοντας: Κύριε, ιδού, [ιδού] η λίρα σου, την οποία έχω φυλαγμένη σε χαρτοπετσέτα.
Luke 19:20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, [here is] thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
Λουκάς 19:21 Διότι σε φοβήθηκα, επειδή είσαι αυστηρός άνθρωπος· παίρνεις ότι δεν έβαλες κάτω, και θερίζεις ότι δεν έσπειρες.
Luke 19:21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
Λουκάς 19:22 Και του λέει: Από το στόμα σου θα σε κρίνω, πονηρός δούλε. Ήξερες ότι ήμουν αυστηρός άνθρωπος, που έπαιρνα ότι δεν έβαλα κάτω και θέριζα ότι δεν έσπειρα.
Luke 19:22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, [thou] wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
Λουκάς 19:23 Γιατί, λοιπόν, δεν έδωσες τα χρήματά μου στην τράπεζα, ώστε κατά τον ερχομό μου να είχα ζητήσει τα δικά μου με τοκογλυφία;
Luke 19:23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
Λουκάς 19:24 Και είπε στους παρευρισκόμενους: Πάρτε από αυτόν τη λίρα και δώστε τη σε αυτόν που έχει δέκα λίρες.
Luke 19:24 And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give [it] to him that hath ten pounds.
Λουκάς 19:25 (Και του είπαν: Κύριε, έχει δέκα λίρες.)
Luke 19:25 (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
Λουκάς 19:26 Διότι σας λέω, αυτό σε καθέναν που έχει θα δοθεί. και από εκείνον που δεν έχει, ακόμη και αυτό που έχει θα αφαιρεθεί από αυτόν.
Luke 19:26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
Λουκάς 19:27 Αλλά εκείνους τους εχθρούς μου, που δεν ήθελαν να βασιλέψω πάνω τους, φέρτε εδώ και θανάτωσέ τους [τους] μπροστά μου.
Luke 19:27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay [them] before me.

Λουκάς 19:26 Διότι σας λέω, αυτό σε καθέναν που έχει θα δοθεί. και από εκείνον που δεν έχει, ακόμη και αυτό που έχει θα αφαιρεθεί από αυτόν.
Luke 19:26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
Λουκάς 19:27 Αλλά εκείνους τους εχθρούς μου, που δεν ήθελαν να βασιλέψω πάνω τους, φέρτε εδώ και θανάτωσέ τους [τους] μπροστά μου.
