Strong commitments are at the heart of the Action Coalitions’ ambition to drive accountability and impact.

Each Action Coalition blueprint lays out a powerful vision for success, as well as priority actions, strategies and tactics on key areas that matter to women’s and girls’ lives. Together, the blueprints represent a Global Acceleration Plan for Gender Equality: a transformative roadmap designed by the Action Coalition leaders to advance concrete results in the six Action Coalition themes over five years.

Through collective effort and leadership, the Action Coalitions mobilized hundreds of catalytic commitments for policy, advocacy, and programmatic change. The work of the Generation Equality Forum is only getting started. Over the next five years, the Action Coalitions Secretariat will continue to engage with partners to strengthen commitments and ensure it translates into concrete Action.
