On this beautiful sunny fall morning, we just had to get in the car and explore the #scenic #colors of the #forest. We drove the gravel road way through the middle of the ancient taiga woods, towards the big waterfall. We paid the blue abandoned Saab a visit and enjoyed the magic of this land to the fullest. It is just indescribable.. Enjoy!

@Annabel: an additional little reply to your last comments from yesterday.
Here, in a separate thread so as not to lose the overview.
Because this one feels especially important to me — the one where you refer to a tiny house *not on wheels*.
This is coming very close to what is perhaps my most ideal “set up”: a log cabin with rounded logs.
The cabin would not have to be big — it could be the size of a tiny house, or slightly bigger.
But for some reason that is an image that has been popping up in my “world / imagination” over and over again. For years. And I guess the calling has been getting louder and louder, especially since our trip to Sweden this summer.

It’d be absolutely wonderful to have such a (little) cabin on a property: an old existing one, or even a newly built one.
We have seen a few in Kiruna last month. I did not pay enough attention back then but it did show that at least they are still built at least sometimes.

Second: the fact that you come with this suggestion relates back to this other thing we wrote about yesterday. The high vibration. I find it baffling that you brought up this possibility without me having mentioned it explicitly…

Glad you are posting (again). I have yet to start watching this particular video.
But wanted to let you know we are very much looking forward to following your journey as your first winter is approaching rapidly now.

We have just had our first visit to Swedish Lapland a few weeks ago. And we have been absolutely flabbergasted / turned upside down and inside out. By the immeasurable vastness and unspeakable beauty. Of Sweden as an entire country. But of Lapland in particular.

To the degree that I am now wondering how to deal with all that. Should we relocate to Sweden / Lapland? Permanently? Or at least temporarily / certain times of the year? 
Or should we integrate our out-of-this-world experience in Sweden down here in Belgium, our home country where we currently are living?

One factor that serves as a threshold to relocate / move is of course, the harshness of winter: very long, very dark, and very cold. I have seen your video on the new heating system you just installed. I remain curious about the insulation in your house. Given the price you paid for the house, one could infer that it is not super insulated..? (Just wondering, and trying to get a sense of how things are in general, up there and with older not so expensive houses).

At the same time, that cold/winter is also where the magic is.
Very very hard to pinpoint what it is that attracted / triggered us so much, apart from the “vastness and immeasurable beauty” I already referred to. But there is also something about the space / peace, the energies that are less dense compared to down here in central Europe (Netherlands, Belgium, etc). And that space / peace might also/even be stronger during winter..? With the snow even intensifying the peace / quietness that is already there (without snow)..?

I could go on and on. And I am sure I’ll be back (here) to continue the conversation.
