PRACTICE QUESTIONS, PRACTICE QUESTIONS, PRACTICE QUESTIONS!!! Make sure you have a study guide ready for review a week before your exam and half way through that week, you start practicing questions. BEST decision I have ever made :)

honestly to retain information, usually you need to read, write down, say it out loud, hear it. you need to have the information in your brain to recall it. also get enough sleep and make sure you're eating!

What I did to help me with some of my classes (especially for my pre-req Anatomy class) is I used Kahoot and made them so I could practice. I used questions from the book, power points, and made my own. It was great as I’m a visual person and I could add in pictures. It made me go from getting a 36 on my first Anatomy exam to a 96. I like repetition, so it helped drill it in for me in a fun manner. Plus it was a big hit as study groups.

Record your lecture, answer the questions throughout the chapter, at the end if the chapter, get a book to record all the drugs, side effects, what it treats so you can have it in hand.

For paperless students that still want flash cards I suggest getting the app quizlet you can make your own study sets and quiz yourself and the can be on digital flash cards plus it’s free

Make sure you do the questions at the end of the text book too. I see those on test often!💞

This is great advice my school doesn’t give any material like PowerPoints, notes, or study guides. Basically if our exam is on 8 chapters we have no assistance to what to expect it’s really challenging but I’m making in through!

I find that I have little time to even set aside to put together my study material. I'll put in my agenda from the time i know we have an exam to do my flashcards but aren't able to complete them until 3-4 days before the exam.

What I'm going to try doing is write out at least 5 flashcards a day for each exam then study them as time goes on so I don't feel overwhelmed to do 30+ flashcards for a single exam.
