Honestly if they flopped MHJ wouldn't ever look at them twice.

I think they need to stop recruiting kids who cannot possibly understand the contracts they’re signing. It’d save so many young KIDS, because let’s face it they keep debuting younger and younger, from these situations.

It’s extremely disappointing that they are still doing everything MHJ asks of them. I don’t believe she has their best interest in mind, only her own

Well since MHJ keeps getting caught in lie after lie, this situation is not going to be resolved quickly. And so much legal stuff!

Other agencies will be thinking ' if they've done this to hybe, they can do this to us and we dont want to deal with that'. This group have shot themselves in the foot risking everything they have and the music agencies may not have anything to do with them after this. They are too young of a group ( not age wise) to be making demands. They should have understood the consequences before going to the press.

Shame on everyone saying they’re ‘so brave’. I hope the best for New Jeans too, but they’re shooting themselves in the foot for MHJ who clearly does not care about them. All of this to reinstate her in her prior position which is NOT possible if anyone knows what happened, she was offered to have the chance to stay with them until they’re contract was up and she turned it down bc she does NOT care about these girls. Don’t even get me started on the texts, bullying other groups/the girls, and p3do allegations/issues with her as well. They clearly did their last press conference without talking to a lawyer, or someone is purposely leading them astray. They are old enough to know better than this.

I genuinely don't feel bad about them, hanni spoke about bullying at the national assembly but they're still supporting min heejin even after knowing what all she had done

Honestly it's going to be very tough for the girls to exit.... they literally don't know what they are doing. I feel they don't really understand how their contract works. They have pay millions of wons to Hybe, money they don't really have now, they might lose that house they have overlooking Namsan tower (if I am not wrong) and also their reputation might be damaged forever in the music industry. Honestly I am just hoping the best for the girls and hope they do well in whatever path they chose.

Before someone comes at me no I am not supporting HYBE only stating facts.

Let kids be kids, kpop has changed over 10 years honestly mental health should be top priority in my opinion there's something suspicious about the industry i think kpop artists should speak out on it or they are not allowed to im wondering. Its not just hybe its every k industry in korea. What if someone wants to quit being a kpop idol? Idk im now realizing this after 10 years of listening to kpop, idk if it's fame, or what.

I wonder if MHJ thinks " just like i made them big, i can destroy them too". Like if I cant manage them, noone can? These five young ladies and their family, arent there any one person with critical thinking? Has she threatened them with something, like blackmailing them? How much more could she offer them to turn them into this, obediently following her. I dont get it. I am almost about to believe she put a spell on them or something. "Supernatural"...
Good luck to them, whatever they decide i hope they wont regret it.

Honestly I do not even understand why Hybe is trying to hold onto New Jeans when it was disclosed that Hybe wanted to drop New Jeans and concentrate on Illit and Le sserafim. This was disclosed even before things got hot.
But what do we expect from a company that surprised Gfriend by disbanding them, and ignored Fromis9 till they quit. Hybe the armpit of the Kpop world.

While i wish the best for these girls, cause they are clearly talented and their music was enjoyable and refreshing to listen to, i don’t think it’s the best career decision for them.
They’re risking everything for a questionable person (MHJ), who is just another person leeching off of idols and profiting and exploiting them.

Sure, if this was all about mistreatment and being ignored or abused in a toxic environment this would have been brave of them, but they are just having a career suicide. I doubt that after they leave they can remain as one, as MHJ would not be accepted into any company nor is she interested in making her own. The only thing they can do if they decide with the break up from HYBE, is to move on as individuals.
They are truly being manipulated here, i think.

I dont think the NJ story is really the main story today in South Korea. 😂

I think it would have been better if they stayed in their contract and then after it's done, sign with a new label. I'm not sure if MHJ is necessarily good for them- she doesn't have as much power as the label in terms of looking after their career. Their success might be due to her, but all the resources used to make them a success was through their label. Not to mention that they have brand deals, etc... that's through the label. It's nice that they are standing up for themselves, but it seems like MHJ has a bit too much of an influence on them. It could hurt their career
