Saw the game being palyed at the Wargames club last night, it does seem pretty good. I think it takes about 2 hours to put all the unit lables on to the blocks.best done on a tray while watching telly.

Thankyou for all the hard work you do on the videos. I have been using this excellant source for years to help me decide what to pick up next=)

Looks really like Memoir, though i like that it has more types of infantry units. And i like those blocks. Though i don't really get the point to make them standing. I would use the laying on the hex.

I've wanted to try this game system before, I have several WW2 and Civil War themed war games, am not interested in the ancient world outside of BGFW Historics, so this is a perfect way to get into the "Borg mechanics." I've had it for a while now, thanks for the great review Tom!

Do you have a preference, one year later, between Ancients and Napoleonics? I'm trying to decide which to buy (if I don't just end up buying both). Also wondering if the Ancients expansions are still being produced. That would factor into my decision.

It's been a few years since this video was made, I hope Tom has since learned how to pronounce the word, "mêlée".

It's not a review. It's a description.
