SO proud that Jennifer is from Charleston! We were in high school at the same time, she was a year behind me, at the high school that was our biggest marching band compatition. I was at Herbert Hoover, she was GW. We were always neck and neck in band festivals. GW won the local band festival her first yr, my second yr, but my senior year, we won it back, so I love to tell people that WE KICKED Jennifer's schools butt that year. LOL. When flooding hit out community, and my high school was destroyed...all band instruments were destroyed. She came home and did fund raising FOR my high school! She said we were rivals once but we stand together now. What a joy it has been to watch a hometown girl make it big. AND she loves talking about our little town, and is so positive. What a great honor for her, she honor's us, here in WV all the time!
