Former minister George Eustice has confirmed he will be stepping down as an MP at the next general election.

He said he believes the days of people being an MP for most of their lives are "done" and suggested people are "overreading" the significance of Tory MPs decided to step aside.

Did he say "15 as an MP and 9 in Parliament?" If he did, that doesn't make sense. Perhaps he meant, 9 in government.
