I feel people wanna give him the win cause he hadn’t won in a long time but he litterly went from being off track to pushing Hamilton in the wall. His excuse is he had no where to go but that’s not true he could/should have slowed down when entering the track and give Hamilton enough space otherwise why would one make the corner if they are about to get overtaken if they could just do this.

I consider that race as a win for Seb. Lewis was very clever, he knew exactly what he was doing and there was no chance of getting past Seb but by putting his car in that position it would likely lead to a penalty for Seb for blocking / gaining an advantage by leaving the track. Very clever indeed and that’s not meant as shade to Lewis, fair fucks to him, he was trying to win the race, but it was never a penalty. Seb didn’t gain an advantage, he lost a load of time by slithering across the grass but managed to regain control and still keep Lewis behind him.

The problem I have is not that the penalty was given, but the penalty itself. If you feel Sebastian blocked Lewis and that Lewis would've made it by, then have Seb give Hamilton the position on track. Then Seb can attempt to retake the lead. By giving Seb a 5 second penalty, all Lewis had to do was maintain a sub 5 second gap. There's no reason for Hamilton to risk an overtake . The FIA needs to rethink time penalties, IMO.
