Nobody understands how true this is. I was bullied for 9 years throughout my childhood and GUESS WHAT it was always ALWAYS the popular kids who bullied me! Because “Nobody likes the kid who isint ‘normal’”. Whoever wrote this line for the anime has got to have been some wise old man or smth.

what a character and what an arc. A complete subversion of other superhero shows/media. The hero slowly gets stronger and fights stronger and stronger opponents before clashing with the big bad. But we get Garou and his journey to becoming the ultimate symbol of fear, taking down hero after hero and some monsters on the way. Leading up to a fight that lived up to all the hype. What an insane arc.

Garou.. my favorite character since 2020, I always understood him, yes sometimes he could go too far, but I didn’t stop loving him, he’s just broken... I’m glad that in the manga he got his good ending, I’m glad that he opened up (and I'm sure this is not the end) and became more...kind? I don't know, but still there is progress in him as a person.. I hope that he still appears in the manga, and I hope that he will continue to heal his childhood traumas with the help of Beng and learn to communicate with people. the best boy in the world, he deserves more! 💗💗💗

in 2017 when I started watching the anime, I thought that Garou was a normal ass villain cuz I was only concentrating on Saitama's funny moments without concentrating on the plot. then in 2019 or 2020( i don't remember ) I rewatched one punch man concentrating on the plot, and then I realize that Garou is not like every other villain, he doesn't want to be a villain, the world forced him to be one, poor Garou, he deserves better.

One Punch Man a real great anime , i think, because main characters have their own reasons to be "good" or "bad", just like we used to thinking, in big amount tails i saw good and bad characters, but in One Punch Man don't considered this 2 types of characters.Like someone said, villains it's broken heroes

he was NEVER the loser, infact i think he was always the coolest of them all. he wasn't too op like saitama or too "weak" like mumen rider, idk if this will offend you or not, but he was very balanced but VERY INSANELY COOL in my opinion.

It's not like I didn't want to be the monster. It's because the game itself just felt some incredibly one-sided and unfair. "Heroes and Monsters" is just a game of pretend based on kids' TV shows. Everyone's free to choose what role they play. But me... I was friendless, always with a dark cloud above. Everyone knew who the hero was going to be. I didn't stand a chance in Hell. I started watching opm 3 days ago when I got to garou's introduction I didn't really like him I just thought he was some one that was really strong and then saitama just one punches him but garou really looked like a bad guy since edits of him fighting with saitama and stuff but his backstory was the greatest plot twist on him. Im really hoping he wins this guy might be one of the best characters in the show.
