I had to pull an employee in the office and have a talk with them about their body odor, and this guy couldn’t fire someone that wasn’t working out for the company. Wow definitely not management material in my eyes!

I don't actually blame him. As a small business owner I've had people freak out getting fired. I am 6ft 2 and 240 and fit so I can handle most problems if it gets pysical but I had a big guy working for me and he actually tried hitting me with a hammer and I had to call the cops after he busted the window out of the truck so I kinda understand if you don't want to get physical lucky I could dodge hammer swings and have a physical job that keeps me in shape. I get it .

How is that cRaaAAaaZy? Sounds pretty reasonable to me. You expect him to just turn around and fire him with you sat there? I’d assume he needs a second opinion from the CTO? What if the CTO said ‘you go grab a coffee, I’ll handle this’ some things are above your pay grade champ.
