ASTROFEST 2019

Perth's annual celebration of everything astronomy in Western Australia, ASTROFEST, celebrated its 10th anniversary this year (2019) with a huge event. Astronomy enthusiasts from amateur to professional to those just wondering what it's all about showed up for a great night of observing and learning. Even the clouds played-ball!

ASTRO 3D got in on the action with an activity stall featuring our popular "Epoch of Bubbles" and the new "Escape the Cosmic Microwave Background" maze. We were able to produce some awesome statistics with the maze, helping to communicate statistical theory in a hands-on and engaging activity.
