Holzweiler AW22 - Weathering

Introducing our AW22 collection, a directional set of pieces inspired by the organic power of nature. Exploring the consequential effects of weather, the collection heralds the elements.

Playing on the natural decay that occurs on surfaces – from peeling paint to natural patinas, the design concept takes us on a naturistic journey, incorporating thoughtful fabric details, such as reflective prints, heat reactive fabrics and distressed knits.

Influenced by weather protective services and weather maps, the nuanced colour palette incorporates infrared heatmap colours from satellite photos.

A bold modern uniform, the pieces relay fit and fabric harmony via elevated takes on traditional workwear silhouettes, relaxed knitwear, effortless tailoring and refreshed jersey styles.

Originally gaining attention via silk, lambswool & cashmere scarf collections, the brand expanded to ready-to-wear in 2014, enlisting Maria Skappel Holzweiler as Creative Director.
