FEV and UTAC have started operations of their joint Automotive Development and Testing Center (ATC) in Oued Zem (Morocco). The very first facility of its kind on the African continent provides a comprehensive service portfolio for automotive development and testing under constant climate conditions.
On 500 hectares, located 150 km southeast of Casablanca, OEMs and suppliers find 30 km of various testing tracks and a wide variety of modern testing facilities.
Beside endurance and reliability testing solutions, road holding, emissions and acoustics, the customers can also do type approval or certification. Another highlight is the modern chassis dyno, adjacent to the testing tracks. Beside the technical expertise, they also can fall back on the long-time experience of FEV and UTAC in the fields of regulatory and legal advice.
