Been using Hoppes 9 for 25 years works great.

Good topic, and like you, I pretty much use whatever I have available. There is a gun oil made by Lucas that they have at the auto parts store that I like and has a nice applicator with a needle tip. I also use 3in1 household oil a lot because it's cheap. One of my biggest determining factors on which one I like to use is the way it smells honestly. One of my friends used to say doesn't make much difference what kind of oil you put in your car if you change it often enough

I've used Hoppes just as equally. I kind of float between Hoppes, and Ballistol. What kind of knife is that in the video?
