While I do agree that it's her dress and her choice... I just feel like if someone is going to upcycle it to change the whole style/silhouette, might as well get something close to that or make it from scratch... Someone else could've enjoyed this dress for what it was without completely changing it and she still would've got the result she wanted...
It's kinda like people who buy vintage houses and take all the vintage elements out of them to make them look like all the houses we already have today..

It's turning out beautiful, but what was even the point of getting a vintage dress if you're going to change everything about it? With so many changes I'm wondering if it would've been better to just sew a new wedding dress from scratch.
