The beauty and greatness of Cathedrals reflect the beauty and greatness of God the noble builders of Cathedrals have intended to inculcated. Understand through God, in God and by God, God's thought and through humans' art expose God's beauty, God's greatness. This art is the Cathedral.

Having said that in saying it is sad because of the presence of tourists in Cathedrals is contradictory to the aim of Cathedrals. For the builders of Cathedrals have built houses of God that is houses of people. And in the beginning Cathedrals are even use for political events, there were teaching in Cathedrals, even doctors meet patients in Cathedrals. Therefore it is rather a good thing the see tourists in Cathedrals for this can be an opportunity to humans to question themselves on how and why centuries ago some can simply erect such beauty if they haven't witnessed the Mystery.

there are features of st patrick’s cathedral in baile atha cliath that resemble middle eastern architecture such as the persian arches and the stepped towers of the façade remind me of that on the babylonian gate of ishtar
