I got his autograph on a paper and he had written his phone number. This was when his mother had a house in Riverside, CA. Richard would go there to decompress after a strenuous tour. Aretha Franklin was their friend she had a house near them. Richards last public words were “believe in Jesus.”

I've loved this legend they called Little Richard since I first heard his music growing up in the 1950s. His passing has been a great loss to music. To me he was the real King of Rock n Roll.
