The YAS-106 has one HDMI input and one HDMI output. It supports 4K / 60p (4:2:0) video signal pass-through and HDCP 2.2 digital copy protection making it compatible with the latest sources and TVs. Also the HDMI output supports Audio Return Channel (ARC) which simplifies connectivity with compatible TVs

I have this Soundbar and it’s excellent quality for the price. This Soundbar compares well against more expensive units and I also use it for streaming music via Bluetooth. It’s not chest thumping bass, but you can always add a sub and it’s more than adequate without the sub. The available app is OK, but nothing special as you have to continually reconnect your device manually every time you turn it on.

I want to replace my existing yamaha av-receiver and speakers with this soundbar but what about all the inputs which currently go into the av-receiver. I don't want to hook all all inputs to the tv directly, well i can't anyway because mine only has 2 hdmi ports? any soundbars with multiple hdmi ins?

I set this soundbar up for my parents. Unfortunately their TV doesn't have the ARC functionality that you recommended in another comment. Is there still a way to have one remote (dish hopper3 remote) control the TV and soundbar?

I am getting no benefit from this sound bar. I used brand new hdmi cable from the to TV to the bar. Then I used the optical outlet. Still no benefit. Could the sound bar be bad for it seems so.
