This episode was very enlightening. So, I do believe that a sea-based cryptid would be possible, since the oceans are so big and cover 70% of the planet. Infinite places for a small number in a species to hide, survive, live on, and breed. It's not so impossible within the oceans.

They must've hired an amateur video editor. The video should've been zoomed in more or cropped to exclude the last split second where it shows the end of the drift wood/floating trash; from who know which body of water. The bigger mystery is where did they get that Thomas Edison 1895 cinematography motion picture camera to record this animal?
