Fun fact about me! I was in a production of Peter Pan in middle school. We had a female Captain Hook and I realized I was bi when I got a huge crush on her. The kicker? I played the crocodile. 😬

fun fact the Japanese voice actor for Disney's Captain Hook Chikao Ohtsuka later found fame as the voice behind the legendary pirate Gold Roger in hit anime/manga Echiro Oda's One Piece.

I was scared of costume characters as a child and I would have been scared out of my mind at the topiary Hook. It's a gorgeous costume and I love the way they brought him out but it would have been terrifying for me.

By far, Hook is my favorite Disney character followed closely by The Mad Hatter. Both are just great!

This was such an amazing video! One of my favorite versions of Captain Hook, even though he didn't appear in the Disney Parks in this version, is the version from Once Upon A Time portrayed by Irish actor Colin O'Donohue because of his story arc. In the show he went from being a devilishly wicked villain to a hero. We even get a glimpse of his back story. Can you do an evolution of Wendy Darling and her brothers please?

10:50 I need a slightly toned down version of this costume as a show character on a cruise, for a villains or pirates night, with a meet and greet afterwards.

I think this is pretty close to my perfect Hook, but I prefer a face character to the mascot version for him. (Mostly because Pan is always a face character, and having him chased by mascots always felt weird to me, even as a kid.)
