I've actually never riden with a saddle. I've only done it bareback. It was a neighbors horse when i was younger.

Where I ride horses, we sometimes ride the horses bareback into the pond. It’s so much fun and it’s the best feeling!

Don’t do it often tho constantly, saddles help even out our weight on the horses back! :)
