Chasing Guitars: 1932 Selmer-Maccaferri:

'Chasing Guitars' is a series focused on the search for rare and often vintage jazz guitars.
The ultimate aim is not necessarily to buy the guitar/s but to see one in person and get a chance to play it.

I am also building a jazz guitar manufacturing business in the UK.
I am filming the process as I go and so far have 8 episodes.
It should be an interesting look into the potential success, or failure, of a start up jazz guitar company, in a difficult market.

The restoration was done by Robert Aylward, he wrote about it recently on Facebook because he was getting a lot of enquiries. It was originally a four string Eddie Freeman model conversion done badly according to Rob. He pretty much rebuilt it and says the only original features left are essentially just the back and sides..
