I’m far from a Max fan but the car clearly isn’t good enough anymore to win races at this stage in the season. He’s doing well though to continue scoring points while McLaren/Norris have bottled so many chances by themselves to catch Max in the championship.

What is happening with RB? They used to be the king of strategy and pitstops. They need to get their stuff in order asap!

I feel Max deserves a great car to show Lando how it's supposed to be done.

Max's chances are slim for this season, but for now it is still possible. For the remaining 7 races Max can lose 8, 28 points per race compared to Lando, and still become the champion with one point difference, given the fact that they both have no DNF or any other major issues for the remaining 7 races. Max also needs to stay close to Piastri and Leclerc, but obviously that gap between them and Max is much larger, but for Leclerc and Piastri it is not impossible to overcome. So it is going to be interesting to see how it is going to develop. Different winners for each race would beneficial for Max. Max needs to finish every race, and to be able to stay close to the podium points.

It is a lot to ask, but not impossible.

Amazing how F1 can change. Beginning of the year, RB podium...after podium. Now Max won't get on the podium for the rest of the year. In fact, it might be a few years before Max tastes champagne again.
