I own this and I have to say hats off Urs Heckman and the U-he team, they got it spot on. The richness of the Repro-1 tones are just second to none, full of warm, analogue goodness, that you usually don't get in a soft synth.

Repro-1 and The Legend (from Synapse Audio) is probably the best software synth emulations of analog synths ever made in my opinion. New standard. I'm very excited for the future.

In those early days we were just trying to keep up, but with prices for decent synths that would play just one note costing more than a decent used car it wasn't easy. I had started playing keys in the right hand and bass with the left so I needed a good bass synth. I had an Arp Odyssey and a DX7 but I just could not tame that Arp. I got a bass sound, but it was just too hard of a sound for what I liked in a bass tone. But then this thing dropped for a street price around $600. I tried it and it was love at first sound! What great bass tone, and super easy to program. Way better than the Arp tho the Arp was by no means a bad synth. Just not a bass tone to my liking. The Moog was just too mushy for me not to mention it was $1500. I used that Pro 1 and the DX7 for many years. What a combination. Then I started hearing some stuff from U-he and when they started talking a plug for this I could not wait. And sure enough, they delivered. I love this thing. I now own their Diva, Hive and Zebra along with the Repro package as well as the free synths they offer, and all of them are just monsters. Thank you U-he. Synth heaven!!

Plugin of the year for me! Oh and please please PLEASE can you eventually release a wavefolder effect plugin similar to the one in Repro (maybe with more modulation possibilities), it sounds insane and everyone would want it =]. I vaguely remember you saying you were testing a version of Repro with audio-in which unfortunately had DAW-related issues, still really impressive what you did in this though!

I'm playing with right now, U-HE REPRO 1 -- a faithful, insanely accurate recreation of the first synth I ever bought, brand new, back in 1981 when I was 19. Still my all time fave synth (I couldn't afford a minimoog back then). Waited forever for this since the actual synths are now collectors items and $2K for a perfect version. So, this was my happiest software purchase in 2016.

Urs and Co. plugs are leagues above the rest. Bought this and still never selling my Rev2 P5 ;)

This is a pretty awesome bit of kit. The fact it's monophonic is even better. Mono analogues are just more dynamic than poly analogues. To my ears anyway. I also love the limitation. One note at a time requires a different mindset and presents unique challenges. This and Brian Eno's oblique strategies card deck and you're set.

Any chance U-he would do a Roland SH-2 sometime? Another synth with a deceptively simple architecture and a huge sweet spot.

the tweaks tab skin could be in black and red like the rest of the synth. With the gears graphics its not really useful and its harder to find the settings... Another skin maybe. But well done for this other great synth guys ;)
