its been about a year...
never beat pickmin 2 before, my grandma always loved it, i always loved it
she passed in march of 2022
recently, i beat it
hearing this song, seeing the top results, reminded me of a time once past...
brought me to tears
i wish i coulda told her i did it... i beat it, i completed a promise

This song hurts me… all those blues from the submerged castle… the hole of heroes…

This song made me beat pikmin 2 deathless. Bless their little coloured souls.

This theme has always made me feel a combination of 'a calm before the storm' and sadness due to how you can reflect on the potential Pikmin you lost along the journey.

Even when no Pikmin are lost, the ways they could've been lost, couple with the images, make this theme sound sad.
It might be just me though.

I love how this theme hit me the most when they show the number of pikmin dead and the agonizing picture depicting their suffering, especially the "dead by explosif" Picture, really show how violent their death is.... Poor lil guy :'(

Just 100% Completed Pikmin 2 today, and 642 Pikmin lives were lost in my save.
100 Pikmin entered the Dream Den, and only 31 came out.

I beat Pikmin 4 today, 100%ed all the areas and ill be tackling whats left tommorow. This franchise is my favourite and most likely always will be, but Pikmin 2 holds a very special place in my heart


Im so greatful to say that Pikmin 4 is honestly an excellent successor to everything pikmin 2 did right and im so greatful that I had the chance to play it.



Its late now, and the rains just started to fall, I think ill call it a day here.
