I still think Spigen is one of the best case manufacturers of all time. I always buy the rugged armor as well as the tough armor for the kickstand. I also try and stay away from soft tpu clear cases because they always yellow.

I'm a fan of Poetic and Unicorn Beetle's rugged cases. Quite durable and love that they include a 2nd front frame without the plastic screen protector, in case you break your glass screen protector and you now have a spare.

Awesome video you are 100% correct the same happened to mine. Warping around the buttons, and usb- c port with terrible discoloration. I threw that case away and got me an OtterBox zero complaints.

The Peak Design case has been AMAZING with the option to get magnetic add-ons like bike mounts and a baller slim mobile tripod. It even works with Moment's magnetic accessories 🙌🏿

I buy Caseology Vault and Spigen Liquid Air for almost every recent phone I've had, and occasionally Spigen Ultra Hybrid. These aren't necessarily the most protective but they look good, offer decent protection and are priced very well.

I think OnePlus have always and still are doing it right with their OEM cases 🎯 Samsung's are pretty good too. I like to try OEM cases but I dodged Google's for my 6 Pro, and it looks like I made the right decision.

Also, I've always had the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, the Spigen Though Armor, they're pretty great tbh

Rhinoshield cases are just the best, in my opinion. I got a Rhinoshield bumper on my Pixel 4xl and it still looks amazing, also it has saved my screen several times.

D Brand Grip Case has been on my Pixel 6 since new, and it still looks perfect.

I think (hope) Google quit selling that case when I ordered my 6a at checkout I was offered a 3rd party clear case. Alas though it scratches easily and so on multiple phone brands I have given up on clear cases. Spigen Liquid Air in basic black is my go to after clear case disappointment on several phones. It's grippy w/o being sticky and protects well yet not bulky.

I'm finishing year one with my Pixel 6 Pro case from Google and the volume button sticks. Total crap. You're spot on.

The one wrapped around my P6P right now is the Poetic Revolution. It has its own issues like the hard plastic areas right around the USB-C port cracking very easily and that little screen protector with the little adhesive sticker right above the fingerprint sensor totally messing up readings, but other than that, it's been a literal lifesaver for a phone I want to keep around for the full 5 year lifetime. The hard plastic only cracked because it took the brunt of falling off my bike at 20MPH and tumbling to a stop on the asphalt. They claim they'll mail you out a free replacement frame if you give them your receipt info, but I couldn't be arsed to do that yet until it completely falls apart. It does make the little rubber USB port flap not close properly, tho. I feel if they had glass fiber reinforced the plastic, it wouldn't be so brittle.

As always, solid point. I couldn't use the Google case. Please check out Peak cases for your Pixel 6 Pro. I'm not a case person, but I love this case!

It really is horrible. I had things stretch, separate, and the inner hard plastic crack. It's truly the worst case I've ever used. The Spigen Liquid Air is so much better, and cheaper too

For years my go to case was the Incipio Octane. It offered the best combination of grip, thinness and drop protection as well as being translucent without yellowing. It went on my Lumia 830, Iphone7, HTC 10, and LG V35. Sadly, it was discontinued when I got my Pixel 5. The best case I found that approximates the Octane for me is the Crave Dual Guard. While it is not translucent, it is as protective as the Octane while having much better buttons.

I love my Pixel 6. However... Google needs to refund all the money they took for this case. I bought two, and they were both hot trash.

I was so disappointed when my official case started warping and bubbling too. It just doesn't look that good on my Pixel 6. I miss the official fabric cases.
