How to know when to let the winners run vs sell quickly? This is a big issue, with these volatile stocks it feels like the prices go up and down if you're watching every moment. I had some losses overcome my victories so far this week so don't think I am some great trader or anything, but I did get great % gains on TENK and LUMN. But the reason I could get such gains was probably because I have a small account and so was holding overnight to not go against the PDT rule. I feel like I probably would have sold for a much smaller % gain if I weren't under the rule, and miss out on a lot (though I guess that's safer since it is still a win). If you try to let some stocks "run" they can quickly turn around and become a loss (and at larger amounts even small losses can really add up).
