What's up everyone! Here's an interesting video of a coin store I have never visited before. I walked pass this place many times but never had the opportunity to step inside. The store was usually, either packed with patrons, or had closed for the day.
Fortuitously on the day of recording, it was rather quiet in the store, so I decided to go in and have a chat. The owner was very warm and welcoming, and allowed me to take some videos on the condition I did not reveal any faces. Unfortunately some of the footage were corrupted so this video is shorter than what I originally intended. I will try to get better shots of the graded coins and banknotes on my next visit.
Alwrich Numismatic is located on the third floor at the People's Park Centre in Chinatown, Singapore. As you can see in the video, the store specialises in graded coins and banknotes, but offer other services as well. They will send your coins for grading by NGC and PCGS. Many of their items are listed for auction via the Monetarium app, which is available for download via the App Store or Google Play.
I've downloaded the app but have not participated in any auctions. From what I have been told, you can bid for any lots as long as you are registered in the app. The auctions will accept bids locally and internationally, and will ship worldwide. If anyone intends to bid (or have bidded) using the Monetarium app, kindly share your experience in the comment section below.
