I immediately thought about the ipega or similar clamp on controller when mine arrived. A little over 240$ mint condition on ebay... now I travel with it exclusively. An external ssd full of movies and games, hdmi cord and a wireless controller. But im ordering the ipega just for the cool factor!

when connecting the ipega control, are the cooling holes and gpd pocket clogged ??? plug the fan ??? Is a lot of gpd pocket warmed up with games ??? Greetings and thank you

I wouldn't recommend this for long term play, the controller covers up the exhaust port on the right side. Definitely remove the controller after you're done.

If only we could get something like the Intel Core m5 cpu, like they're putting in the GPD WIN 2, paired with a dedicated GPU similar to a Tegra X1's GPU core. That would be one hell of a portable windows gaming machine! The integrated Intel UHD graphic just can't do that well. It's definitely holding the CPU back

2 years later... One Netbook releases the OneGX1 that basically takes this idea.

Hey! Out of curiosity, did you notice any throttling because the controller was blocking the exhaust ports? I'm looking into the GPD pocket because it doesn't share the long term battery issues the GPD win has (Because the GPD win has the battery right against the motherboard and cooks itself to death) but I'm also looking for a good controller solution for the GPD pocket as well.

Wonder of this is wider than a switch or not also this would be a good way to play all those sweet pc games that are not graphically intensive like anything in dos box or those indie games not coming to switch even geometry wars 3

Altho I have to say, the Ipega 9023 is not a great controller, altho I love the basic design. Wish there were a steelseries that held tabs.

I don't know if Windows has forced out android yet at this form factor for gaming. I do think it will happen and sooner rather than later. I am guessing before 2019 is done using a phone for gaming is going be silly when you could have a "real" computer in its place.

How about a DS emulator along with an N64? Was expecting a showcase of a whole bunch of emulators.

Did you run the emulators at low settings? If you did maybe wii games would run better

U shouldve done a clip of you playing gta 5 on it. I seen a person get it running 60 fps in a building and 40 outside with xbox 360 era graphics

The brightness is too low for me or it's either just the camera..
