Good, this dish is closely similar to Batata wada (Batata means potatoes) in Maharashtra, INDIA, we eat with different types of sauce known as ( chutney)and also some dry powder type garlic chutney, other than that we call fritters of onions and potatoes as Bhajia, Happy to c the dish made by u.

Vey lovely. We don’t make it exactly this way, we add what you’ve added, but we also add green crushed chilies, coriander leaves and instead of using white flour, we add chickpea flour to fry them. Thank you for sharing🙏

Madam, it's very famous snack in southern India n called ALU BONDA.v make curry with potato, onions, curry leaves corriander leave n chillies. V make besan floor batter. Makes small balls of potato mix, dip in batter n fry it. Almost same as u did👍

In India, we call it as aloo bonda and eat it with different chutneys like coconut, peanut, tomato, ginger etc

For mashed potatoes we use milk or cream, yellow onions, chives, salt and pepper. I haven’t tried it by making them into individual balls before but I can see that working.
