I used to play this song for my sons every morning to wake them up for school. One of them is getting married this month and this will be the song for the mother/son dance. My husband, daughter and brother-in-law will be performing while we dance. Super excited. Thank you Mac and 3rd Day.

This was my dad's favorite Third Day song, and probably one of his favorite songs in general. I learned how to play it on guitar back in 2018 and he would jokingly sing along. He was a trumpet player not a singer so we'd just start laughing when he'd do so. He passed away at the age of 52 when I was only 17 back in 2021. When I'm missing him, I'll listen to this song. I know the meaning of the song is God loving us before there was time, but I also personally think of it as my dad telling me he loved me before I was born, when I was only just a half formed baby in my mother's womb. He put his faith in Christ and I know that one day when I die, I will be with my dad again finally. Thank you Mac Powell and Third Day for crafting such a beautiful song.
