Mistake #14: Having too many positions when you discover a general market drop is happening. You don't have time to manually sell each position before the drop damages your portfolio.

In 2011, I was aware of trading platforms that had "Panic Buttons" that allow you to sell your entire portfolio with market sell orders by clicking one panic icon. When choosing a broker, a panic button is something to shop for, as having one allows you to have a wide portfolio and still be able to get out fast in a pinch.

Hi Jason, I love your content. They got me through some uncertain times and helped me to keep my cool and make rational decisions. My strategy is to HODL with occasionally DCA in and out some crazy highs and lows on a handful of projects. My problem is that I don't really want to rely on exchanges but they have unbeatable trading fees. I would really want to keep my crypto on a hardware wallet, but the withdrawal/deposit fees always discourage me. On the other side trading from the wallet on DEX has usually high transaction fees, so I am bit torn. What would be your take on this matter? How are you joggling your crypto between places?

My crypto mistakes 2017/2018

Greed, lack of research and scams: bitconnect, davor, farst coin (lost more than 80% of my funds)

Cloudmining: hasflare (from lifetime contract to 1year contract to locked funds and losing $ value)

Never took profits... was too greedy to sell and now Iam looking at trash coins as reminder.

Ico from 2017/2018 isnt worth eth transaction nowadays...

Was active during 2018/2019 but not in 2020... stopped investing new $.

But even with all these mistakes I have better results than banks...
