Dear friends, hello! St. Petersburg, after a trip there, has one problem... Either you don't perceive it, or you fall in love with it for life...

Two main churches are shown in the video - the Saint Isaac's Cathedral and the Kazan Cathedral. There are also some glimpses of the Peter & Paul Cathedral.

The Winter Palace and Palace Square is shown in a few brief clips. The rest of the buildings are just old St. Petersburg, it's an incredibly beautiful city. Many of the more prominent buildings did have specific functions when the Russian Empire had St. Petersburg as its capital.

The ridiculuosly tall skyscraper that is shown under construction is by now finished, and it is the tallest building in Europe. The Lakhta tower. Or as the native St. Petersburgers call it "the corncob" because it kind of looks like one. 462 meters tall or so.
