I knew that Sharpe was a grown man, and that insult from someone he thought was a friend did it!

It was mentioned but to highlight the turning point AGAIN When Skip seen all the success Shannon was having with Club Shay Shay he realized the student had surpassed the teacher.... Skips takes lack any real depth (as he never played the game) and the redundancy of Cowboys talk all day just becomes exhausting.... Congrats to Shannon though.... he's earned his access @ every level of the game!

Well there's two things. One he got disrespected by Skip when he said that you're not as talented and is great as Tom Brady and that really hurt. Shannon and then I'm pretty sure since Skip has the rights to the show. Skip can tell Shannon what the show's going to be like the subject of the day is going to be about and Shannon wanted say so equal say so

Cris Carter would be a very good replacement for Shannon. However, due to him departing FS1 on disagreeable terms it's not likely to happen.

Another good choice would be Will Cain who is currently a part of The Fox family via Fox News. He has the credentials for the job from his history of working in sports tv and radio over at ESPN. He appeared on First Take against Stephen A. Smith and others numerous times.
