i think you need to configure the bot and increase the grid distance and also to play around the the Bollinger bands settings for a better results in a long run.

I have a gbpusd setting on the 30 min on dark venus that is better then all the EA you have shown up to now. Its doing over 20% a month with 15% drawdown. Over 6 month of data.

Dark Venus, if configured correctly - and that's the key - can better than most EAs costing hundreds or thousands of dollars. There will be drawdowns due to martingale trades and there is no news filter. Waka Waka also has savage drawdowns.

What settings were you using?? Without testing it with different settings, itseems unfair to be bashing the Dark Venus like that. Its appears you were just adverting Waka Waka EA. Just go ahead to advertise the Waka Waka instead of disguising a half baked test of the EA.

This is why i dont trade grid martingale system.All good if you are in range slow market but when any trend start you lose whole account.

This strat is too simple.
In profit trailer I got to a point where I was combining smart money buys (based on an indicator I forgot by now), with formulas to adapt the quantity of the buys to the situation.
Also buying based on certain position drawdown conditions and indicators, not just on a fixed grid.
With EQ sell I was selling parts of the bag to make it smaller while lowering the entry price with the buys, and still make a profit.... you can imagine.
After the Luna crash I stopped using it, and now the conditions to use it and the allowed exchanges have changed again, and I haven't touched it again for several reasons.

honestly i don't see the difference between this and Expensive WAKA WAKA. it end up being how far the market can go without losing all. If you set those max loss, this end up being not profirable in the long run as it loose all you won in a single loss.
