I live there...I had to go past that bridge because I had soccer practice every tuesday and thursday and im not gonna lie i always feel weird going past it but who knows

Here in Louisville KY, just tonight 5-26-19 a man was killed on that bridge, no one knows if he was he trying to run from the Goatman? One thing is for sure, THIS is an active train track .

As a local, I find it interesting that even though these stories have been told for generations, mainly to keep kids from going up there, the only deaths have occurred in modern times (1988, 1994, 2000, 2019). That's not to say that kids didn't go up there in the past, but they didn't die. I don't know if it was because they were smarter or luckier. Of course a short film came out in 1988 that brought more attention to it. The railroad said the movie would cause more people to go up there and it looks as though they were right. They erected an 8 foot fence but it has since been bent back by trespassers.
