Dean Winters is still in constant agony after undergoing several amputations 12 years ago.

“I haven’t taken a step since 2009 without being in pain,” the 57-year-old actor exclusively told Page Six. “I’ve got neuropathy on, you know, on a whole different level where I can’t feel my hands and my feet. But if I stepped on a pebble, it’s like I go through the roof.”

In June of that year, Winters contracted a bacterial infection and went into cardiac arrest for over two minutes during an ambulance ride across Central Park. Paramedics revived him, but he suffered through multiple operations and gangrene, which resulted in the amputation of two toes and half of a thumb.

My, I hate hearing this. I dont wish that on anyone but I just love him and his characters. Truly talented man. I enjoy even his commercials. I pray something can make it better for him soon. 🙏

First I'm hearing of Dean's problems...smh...That really sucks...I've loved his characters from O'Reilly to the Vulture and Dennis Duffy...So funny!

Poor guy. As someone who suffers from acute chronic pain I say: Get this man some strong narcotics!!! You don’t have to live your life in Misery! I don’t know how he’s able to act like that. Some people say “oh I can’t act if I’m on pain meds, and I don’t want to be addicted”… The opposite is WORSE! When your in constant pain it’s all your brain can focus on making it almost impossible to memorize lines, be present and focused. When your suffering this much, Pain meds don’t get you high. They just block the pain receptors. Not to mention give you a better quality of life. Godspeed my man.

Neuropathy is horrible. I have it in my feet and am starting to get numbness in my hands. The alternative is just to sit down and die. I watched my mom do it. She just gave up because of the pain and other illnesses played suit. I am still working as long as I can.

Mr. Winters find John Tesh who was just healed of late stage cancer by learning to have faith in the Bible which is God’s Living Word. Praying for you to find the Truth that makes you free.
