VW ID.4 2025 Test - FINALLY good, Volkswagen?

VW is bringing a substantial update with the ID.4 in the new model year version 2025, elevating the vehicle to a reasonable level! Software 5, ChatGPT, a new motor, and soon a new battery. Is that enough to compete against Tesla, BYD, and others?

I have an ID4, and there are a few more things about it that I think are important to kow. First of all, the ID is much more like a normal car than most EVs. It has a lot of features, but you can also just drive it like a normal car without having to learn anything about all the fancy things it can do. It also provides a premium driving experience. I used to drive Porsches because of the driving experience, but now I am just as happy to drive an ID4.

My 2024 ID4 AWD Pro has the same new battery, motor, and updated Infotainment system, so it sounds like VW is rolling out these features in Europe.

I have a 2022 ID.4 and i love it! Electric SUV is amazing, so much space inside and cheap to drive & maintain, very good turning radius makes it feel smaller that it is. I might even get another ID.4 next time im about to change car, and in that case i would be super stoked for that new motor! Not that im disappointed now but more hk is always fun, especially electric where the power is instant. ICE cars belongs in the stoneage

The ID4 design is horrendous and a major disappointment. Fortunately the new 2025 Tiguan embodies the best of VW design and values. VW should replace ID4 ASAP.
