still using this phone 4 years now soon to be 5 years old now i can't let go of this phone even the screen broke i still sent it for repair to get screen replacement so far its working great for me and the camera is still insane with that sony imx 586 sensor and combining it with gcam is insane still its still battling with other 2023-2024 phones and the performance still great for me since im not the type of person to max graphics everything out🖤

I have the mi 9t pro 128gb. No bugs, no issues. I use Google camera (gcamator) and it is outstanding.
The problem is the lack of updates. They kill the Phone with that! A beast with snapdragon 855 with old software...

I bought it in summer of 2019, it aged quite a bit. The camera is bad, the pop up one gets annoying after a year or so. Lag and fast battery draining occured, but this is normal for a 5 year old phone. The only thing I have hated since the beginning was the notifications. Sometimes you receive them a couple hours late, and only the sms gives no sound when I receive one. Other than that it's a great phone

Still hanging on to my K20 Pro! The battery capacity seems to be slightly lower than when I bought it 2 years ago but otherwise it's still going strong. Those camera samples were amazing! Can you please share the Gcam version and config files (if any) you are using?

While it wasn't IP rated mine definitely survived being in water. On the latest version of MIUI Global 12.5.2 its laggy and dark mode is broken

I can personally confirm, that 2-3 years on, when this phone drops to $200ish in my place, even refurbished, it will IMMEDIATELY get bought. Because at $200 there is literally no phone better than the mi9t/k20 pro. They will either have crappier design, less performance or straight up worse designs. The only area they win is gonna be battery. But, yeah. The k20 pro will win in mostly everything else.

That is how good this phone was. Infact, I'm gonna switch to it from my poco x3 pro since the poco x3 pro's screen, design and heft are not my favorite. The amount of custom roms for this phone is very good. So you can confidently ditch miui.

Personally, asus's flipping back camera was the best implementation of removing the notch/punch holes. You will get the best selfies in existence.
