When he sings the words “somebody to hold” if you’ve ever heard a Chris Daughtry song in your life, that run gave it away 100%. “Close my eyes when it hurts sometimes” was the other just no question that it was Daughtry. Killer voice.

I watched this season late but knew this was Daughtry when I heard this because I’m a huge fan of his music. I love his rock music, but he has a real gift for stripping a song back and leaving it all there on the floor. I was crying as a dog sang to me. Lol. This is beautiful.
