So touching- my deepest feeling of receiving compassion was sitting on the edge of my bed too tired except to pray ‘Jesus Jesus Jesus’. I felt like he was sat beside me arm around me so I could lay my head on his chest. Then I daydreamed his hand reaching down to me, hearing ’Come up here.’ I took his hand and suddenly I was beside him on a high mountain looking at a ring of snow capped mountains. I felt fresh and free up there.
This was in my first weeks of 12 weeks recovery from removing a brain tumour.
7 months later we were in Switzerland at the top of Rigi Kulm looking over those beautiful alps. We were offered to stay with Swiss tourists who stayed with us when they needed a place to stay on NYE whilst in Australia. A few nights turned into a fabulous 7 day itinerary they prepared for us. So blest.
But the symbolism remains, ‘Come up here’ where the air is fresh & clear. Rise up above all the world below with Him by your side and breathe. Lift your eyes to the mountains and to God.

What an amazing voice and amazing video

A beautiful song, beautifully sung. It's quite unbelievable how I just found this song. I was listening to a version of the song La Llorona on Youtube that was sung by an apparently unknown artist.

I did some searching to find that they were a student at a music school in Ecuador - Academia Guzmán Records. I went on the the Youtube page of this music school and was listening to some of their student performances. One of the students was an Australian woman singing in Spanish. I searched her name, Sophie Keyes, in Google and found that she is now recording her own music and based in Germany. This is one of her songs. This is one of the things I love about Google and Youtube!
