"Your favorite browser..." and an IE logo pops up on screen, with no warning of incoming harsh/crude images ...No worries, am kidding. But man, did I suffer that thing through decades, particularly with IE5/6. It was a product of pure evil for a designer/coder. EVERYTHING that could fail, would, with it. Every feature of all other browsers would mostly work in all the others: Firefox, Chrome, Opera, even Safari! And I had to spend days of coding and design just to provide the IE users total compatibility. We'd code special JS files, CSS rules, anything just due to IE. Even different graphic designs...! ... Now am doing more creative stuff, but I'd have PRAYED for this day to come, back then.

It is a bad look that Microsoft tries everything to make us use the "fastest browser" that is unironically slower than Internet explorer. Maybe Microsoft shouldn't work on browsers anymore. I have also known no one who wants to use edge, they use it because they don't know how to turn off S mode.

We're trying to replace it for a more modern system, but for the moment I have to still use IE for some old unsupported tools that compatibility mode doesn't work with. Not looking forwards to when it's removed from my work PC.

bro today i opened internet explorer in the computer class and i even searched informations for our projects. they run windows 10.

This sucks because while you had to do a bunch of crap to get it to come up on 10 instead of just edge it was really good to use for old sites and what windows would use for old sites for me for default and then you could also use it to save old flash games

I have a Dell poweredge blade server. Old version the r610 and let me tell you getting the idrac 6 to work was a pain in the ass and I hope my windows doesn't crash cuz I really don't remember what I did to make it work without i.e
