"Do you have the Right to be wrong?" Explanation: The title of the short film is a two way comment on the societal inevitability of inequality, especially that among the rich and the poor - in that it asks the viewer, do the poor have any rights, alongside the question of what the right thing to do should be. The film is set in the time when the world is facing the corona virus pandemic. The black and white monotone, which depicts the life of the poor, and the fun jazz music score, which depicts the life of the rich in this time. The rich have no worries, their life goes on as good as ever, but the poor have to struggle to get even the most basic necessities. The lyrics of the song also complement this. The film begins with two guys sitting in a living room. One obviously rich, judging by his clothes, an expensive watch, the coloured sofa and the fact that he is sitting on it, while the poor guy wears dull clothes, on the floor, against the black sofa with his head tugged in between his legs. All this is a part of the setting. They decide to play cards, high card wins. But since their is a huge difference in the amount of money each has, they can't bet on that. Then the poor guy gets some gram seeds, which are representative of food, which he then divides in half. This is done to show that at least something as basic as food should be divided equally between the different classes, if not the money. They start playing, the rich guy shuffles. He keeps on beating the poor guy, and thus winning all the gram seeds they bet on. This goes to show that even a game like cards, which is entirely decided by luck, tips in the favor of the rich. The game being representative of the lifestyle one is born in. The game is in favor of the rich - this is also shown through the small table they are playing on being leveled higher towards the rich guy. The jack cut off by the king also contains heavy symbolism. The wrist watch is shown again and again as an identification of the rich guy. Also his expressions always show that he is not at all sympathetic towards the poor guy or cares about the fact that he is snatching away his rights, all just because he was lucky enough to be privileged. Utter ignorance is the key on his part. When the first game finishes, the poor guy is only left with a few grams, which wouldn't even suffice basic needs. In the next game, the poor guy gets just one good card, an ace, but his hand is shown to be shaking with fear, because he knows that something in his favor is too good to be true. Indeed, this ace is snatched away by the rich guy, and the poor guy is left with, literally nothing. An interesting thing is that the face of the poor guy is never fully shown. This symbolizes the fact that he represents all those who are poor. One's face represents his/her unique identity, but the poor have got no unique identity, they are identified just as, being poor. While the rich have got a face, their images are important, whether or not THEY are important to the society is not important. The one time the poor guy's face is shown, half of it is covered, firstly because his identity is not important, secondly, because his eyes tell us everything we need to know about his condition (which is also shown through the sudden halt in music). The film is set amidst the corona virus pandemic, and represents on a smaller scale of time, the problem of the rich hoarding all the essential items in their homes, while there are numerous poor people who are sleeping with an empty stomach each day. But this small representation can be expanded to a huge scale, because this societal imbalance can be seen in each place of the world, at every point of time as far back as the human civilization can remember.

Hey Chirag! I came across your feed from the Yes Theory channel/groups!

This is an awesome video! I find it crazy that you haven’t posted in a couple months, you had it going! Amazing short film! Are you still making videos or any other forms of content? Maybe this will serve as inspiration to get back on the grind!

As for a bit on myself (my name is William!), I started making content with the aim of teaching people to break free of societal norms by seeking discomfort & testing their own limits! A few months after starting, my friends told me to check out this channel called Yes Theory as they said my content reminded them of it.. and like you, I’ve been so inspired by the lifestyle they preach!!

Hope you have an awesome day and you are awesome, keep being you! 😁☝🏻
