Hi Simon, I would love the gear not for myself but to set my brother in law up as he’s fell on hard times lately, would be a massive help and be a lovely surprise for him.

Hi Simon, a comprehensive entertaining blog as usual with some honest remarks which are very refreshing. I have been doing likewise over the last year or so with tackle that has become surplus so to speak . Being 70 years young I’ve had so many years to accumulate an excess of fishing gear so it’s a real joy to donate it to young people who can enjoy it . I’m sure you know how difficult it is to balance family life with your hectic fishing schedule and I take my hat off to you sir, you are always a pleasure to watch and even at my age admire . I hope your “ well used and loved “ tackle go to a youngster who deserves it . Ps I did win one of your previous competitions and I’m still speechless 😅. Honesty is always the best way!!! Being a Yorkshire man 2, I won’t try bull shit you up with a sob story or tale… I would love the set up as mine is only 1/2 the quality of the set up you have. I do have tackle, just not as quality for obvious reasons mate. I would however donate any of my own duplicate tackle to Wakefield Angling club for the use of the younger generation who can’t afford or have the opportunity to purchase the tackle. Keep the videos up mate. Thanks for the opportunity

The Elevate rods look fantastic, Crowie! I would love to win this prize to split with my son because they represent the future of our beloved sport. The cost of living and the fact that I have not been able to work since developing sepsis that also caused a pulmonary embolism have made it difficult for our family to even afford basic necessities. My son and I are currently traveling about sixty miles to a new members water that I joined last year, which has carp up to 45 pounds, and I was going to try and sell my old 12 foot rods because I am having a lot of trouble on the pit because I am very under I had never fished at a range before because the last place I went was a tiny, private estate lake that was only 110 yards across. This pit is enormous in comparison. I have yet to catch a carp, but on my first trip there, I did catch the biggest Cat in the lake at over 55 pound

Really enjoyed this video, my 82 year old dad started carp fishing after Covid, I’ve taken up the sport too basically to spend more time him, we are both addicted, your carp gear would be amazing as we don’t have loads of gear.

I'm am just getting back into true carp fishing after a 17 year break, after the kids have left home. My old carp gear certainly needs replacing, but wow prices are way to expensive to buy at all at once. Good luck to all, tight lines

Great video and good to see someone with real integrity and honesty. My grandson Finlay recently started going carp fishing with me but hasn’t yet got his own set up. As you can appreciate it’s hard for any new angler to get going and this prize helps someone achieve that. From Lancashire so not to far 👍

I fish with my two boys 9 & 10, we are always on the lookout for deals but buying three times the kit just gets super expensive. I don’t really have a compelling story other than any fishing gear we get is well appreciated, valued and used. Thanks for the opportunity!
