Still enjoying the reviews, happy you never compromise. Don't stress over the numbers, I'm believing 100K is still just around the corner.

Mike, thank you so much for continuing the individual book reviews. Those of us who do watch greatly appreciate them!

I only read 5 books in February; my book of the month is Never Die. I had a lot of fun with that book.

I enjoy reviews and long videos because I listen to Booktubers all day while I am at work. I enjoy shorts too. Oh well, I love all things about books. ✌️😎📚

Sounds like I'll have to pick up We Are the Dead someday! Great month, Mike -- cheers! Also, in regard to reviews, I definitely agree with Steve. Reviews and long form discussions are the foundation of my channel. I'll keep doing them until the algorithm buries me. And, yes, I'll wear my green tweed for our Liveship chat!

I agree with below comments, I enjoy reviews. Since you make them spoiler free, I feel safe watching. Then I go back and watch again sometime later after I read said book.
Good month for me, I read Royal Assassin, loved it -- read The Drifters, an old 1971 hippie story, was okay -- and got halfway through Assassin's Quest, and loving this as well.

Love your reviews. A review will influence me the most when deciding whether to read a book. Second to that are the spoiler panel discussions. Thanks!

"You want someone to read this series, and then when they start doing it you get scared." Looks like you're ready to become an author, Mike! 😂

You've got me so sold on We Are the Dead! I've been reading a bunch of books recently that straddle the line between being adult/YA, and I'm pretty tired of predictable plots and so much of a focus on one POV's internal life and feelings -- gimme the grim!

I'm also pumped to do my own re-read of the Red Rising trilogy after loving it so much the first time -- thanks for getting me to pick those up originally!

My favorite book of February was Cold People, a sci-fi about aliens forcing humanity to live on Antarctica. I couldn’t put it down. 5 stars.

I think my favorite video from you was the mugs, unless that was January. I watched it in my car at lunch when I was super anxious and it chilled me out.

Hi, Mike! I like book reviews very much. I haven't watched yet the Red Rising videos because I'm still at book 1, but I can't wait to watch the spoiler talks once I finish each book in the series. Thank you, I am reading Red Rising thanks to you and I am having a blast.

Looks like you had a good reading month Mike.
I had a really good month too, no bad books for me 🙂
I read 4 novels and 7 comic books:
The Red: First Light - Linda Nagata
Dogs of War - Adrian Tchaikovsky
Exhalation - Ted Chiang
Juniper Wiles & the Ghost Girls - Charles De Lint
Insurrection - Dan Abnett/Colin MacNeil (comic book)
Gideon Falls - Books 1 to 6 - Jeff Lemire/Andrea Sorrentino (comic book) Awesome story and amazing art.
My book of the month: Dogs of War

Easy pick for book of the month for me: Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb. Personally, I loved the coffee mug tour video.

I enjoy the longer book reviews. I don't watch shorts. I think they are a waste of time. I can't wait for the next livestream!!!

I can’t believe you’re down… I’m watching the videos multiple times… even to sleep to! I don’t always watch shorts right away as sometimes the content might not be for a book I’m interested in but I eventually do. I will say that if I think there are spoilers that I’ll put off watching it …

I bought Red Rising series cause of how passionate you are about them. I’ll be starting them around the end of the year. Very excited.

I read A Man Called Ove many years ago and it always reminded me of Gran Torino and would tell people that! So funny to hear you say that!

I started reading fantasy in Nov 2022, when I found your channel. Since then I've read "1st law" and "The Faithful and the Fallen". My next series is "Red Rising"...all based on your reviews.
