I loved your Traitor's Blade review! I'm gonna go watch it a couple hundred times and give it a bump!

That’s how you got me, through the Kindle videos. Now I’m reading Red Rising and realizing it’s a series I never knew I needed! Thanks for all the videos and keep up the good work!

I’m predicting you’ll blow past 30, 000 subs easily. Mark my words! Very productive month, and I’m especially happy to hear you enjoyed The Trouble with Peace — excited to hear the review!

As an old guy myself, I appreciate the thoughts and reviews from a more "seasoned" reader in addition to all the youngsters out there. Keep up the great work.

Mike! I think the appeal of your channel is in the fact that you are a down-to-earth dude. You don't act like you know everything and are quite relatable. Keep up the good work. Also, I think you are going to be surprised by your numbers. I can see this channel exploding!

You are not old! Don't put yourself down 😭 I've been a follower of Sword and Laser for like 12 years and the two hosts there are 40 - 50 years old. I've always been more attracted to "older" booktubers and book Podcasters etc. mainly because they seem to be more well rounded in terms of: what they like; the genres they know and have read from; I like the way older people express their opinions; their knowledge of books and things in general; and they tend to not focus on the "hype train" but just focus on the books they're genuinely interested in regardless of how new or how old the book is nor what everyone else is reading. I've always been an "older soul" though compared to my peers so maybe its just me 🤷‍♂️😂

Finished Well of Ascension, read Hero of ages, listening to leviathan wakes. Reading children of time now. Solid haul in August at half price books picking up all of Riyria Revelations, and memory, sorrow, and thorn series. Met my summer reading goals so I’m on track!
