Idk if i got the story right but here is my interpretation
The lady had a son and they did everything together but the son died from SIDS (idk what the age range is for that) and she completely broke down and was sent to a mental health facility and was given a doll of her son

This give me uncanny vibes... But it works in case of story. You feel this contrast between real her and her in a hospital. Also great details with her double cheek and messy hair. Without moving and medicines it's easy to gain weight. I personally don't like when in asylum gacha creators makes characters "hot". Because HOOOW.

P.O.V. of the Mother
It was a bright sunny day. Birds were singing, children were laughing. Amelia had just given birth to her first born son. Samuel. Little Sam and his mother always had a strong connection because Samuel was all Amelia had and Amelia was all Samuel had. One day when they were going to the park, Amelia wanted him to play with the other kids. Just then, when Amelia was busy with a call, she had heard a yell from Sam. In her eyes, she saw Sam being abducted by someone unknown as she tried to reach to Sam's hand the kidnapper already drove away. She went to the police station immediately and they filed a missing case for Sam. As she handed out flyers to other people to find her son, she was then called from the police station... There, she saw....

Her poor little Sam's body, all bruised, stabbed, to the point where he was unrecognizable.
Edit: But she knew... that that body was her little boy. The one that she gave birth to, the one that she took care of, the one that she had breastfeed for. All for it to be that she had to lose him too soon.

The police said that they found his body at a river bank near the Hudson River approximately 103.3 mile from Yonkers, where Samuel was abducted. There, poor Amelia, broke down to insanity. It broke Amelia's heart dearly that her son had to suffer alone in the most gruesome, blood sickening death. When the police saw the symptoms of Hysteria, they instantly put her up to the nearest hospital where she lays in a white room with a bed. Early symptoms of Hysteria contains: physical and mental issues, including blindness, hearing loss, seizures, amnesia, uncontrolled bodily movements or complete loss of movement, heart palpitations, emotional outbursts, paralysis, fainting, chronic pain, loss of sensation, hallucinations, and histrionic behavior. Poor Amelia, had to suffer all of this.
