I’d like to say to all the “peepers” … please, just subscribe and when you watch a video “like” it and even share it. It doesn’t cost you anything nor does it hurt you but the impact for this channel and Colette is huge. It tells the algorithm to share the channel more widely so more people see it.

Colette is doing something incredibly positive for our planet, our home, and for us, individually and it’s a small way you can help her and encourage her to continue in her wonderful efforts. Especially since you peep in and watch the results of her efforts. It seems to me it’s the least we can do.

We’re recovering from Hurricane Helene in the mountains of North Carolina. We were lucky and didn’t sustain much damage, but my heart is broken for my mountains and my people. I was just thinking yesterday, “I need a visit with Collette.” Thank you for this respite. I wish you were my neighbor and we could ramble in your woods together and sit in the garden with a cup of tea. Seeing you here this morning is almost as good. Thank you for being a bright spot in the world and on mother earth. Blessings to you! ❤

What a beautiful transitional time for you. This is GOOD.
I am 71 and about to go out on my own for the first time in MY LIFE! I have very little $$ and I’ve waited for years to find government housing to get OUT of an unhealthy living arrangement. I now received a voucher for housing… have 3 months to find a place, so I am searching now for my first Apt. I am scared and excited. I have watched you for many years and have vicariously held onto strength from your own story. I won’t have a woodland… but if I can even have two pots of something organic.. green… and growing,
It will represent my own success.
For the first time I will have the chance to become my authentic self… on my own with ALL I have been learning about life.. people, relationships as Many have all fallen away. It’s probably a good thing and hoping for new doors to open.
Mostly…. I am realizing that the relationship I have with “ MYSELF” is what will support my path forward.
Thx Collette for your life…. As it has helped mine.
My own journey
Continues 🙏🙏☮️☮️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

❤❤ your garden is so beautiful ❤❤. I've heard it said that a garden reflects the person who owns it and I tend to agree with that. My garden that I am leaving next week is a wildlife garden and took me 5 years to create. It definitely reflected who I am and my values and beliefs. The garden in my new home is a concrete rectangle with a small square of grass, that my bunnies will use. It's not the garden space I wanted and the house is not what I wanted, but it's what I have, what I could buy in the time I had ( long, long, story 😬). I can make the house into a cosy nest for me and my pets but the garden 🫣🫣😢. I really hate that concrete yard. I did look at houses in Ireland and some amazing places at good price, but all do up jobs and beyond my capabilities. I'm following another Irish lady, who has bought a 200 year old cottage with land to restore. Oh my 🫣😲, she's certainly got a job on her hands, but she's getting there slowly.

Walking is great exercise and can be great for socialising, too 😃.

Dear Colette, I have exactly the same feelings about the world in general at the moment. I have been worrying and terrorising myself about politics in America, the state of the EU, the state of GB politics, war in Ukraine, war in the Middle East, hurricanes and natural disasters happening world wide and I have realised that actually, I cant do a flipping thing about it!! Worry is just making me sad, tired and ill! So, I am going to do my own thing and live my life for the things I love and can do something about, my environment, my lifestyle, my health, my happiness. I will always care about everything else, but I can't carry it around with me anymore as though I am the only one who can do anything to bring it all to a happy conclusion! That way lies insanity and an early grave, neither of which particularly appeal to me! I love watching your channel and am happily subscribed. Lots of love to you and the wee Patsy. Debs X

When I was a child a very eccentric woman lived a few houses down from me. She was an older woman. The kids in the neighborhood would call her names (witch) being the primary term. She wore tule skirts without any over dress or fabric skirt. Lots of blush and red lipstick. Large amounts of costume jewelry and crowns 👑 on her head of different sizes. Ruffled scarves....I thought she was I made a point to befriend her. I genuinely was impressed with everything related to this woman. We would have random conversations, and she would always have a hard candy ready for me....She still remained a mystery. I never seen children, grandchildren or spouse. It was only her...I still remember her so fondly. Living automatically. Living her way unapologetically. I used her as inspiration in my own life. I admire you being able to live automatically, purpose driving. ❤

I love to drum. When my grandchildren were young we would sit outside with our drums and play. Good memories!

Dear lord, we are on such crazy similar paths. I am an off grid homesteader, I am a weaver (two floor looms), I am embracing my lifestyle unabashedly, changing my self-care priorities, and am sick to death of the mental illness afflicting this species. Bring it on baby, you ain’t scaring me!!

Be as flamboyant as you want. The world may be coming to an end but we can be well dressed to meet it. No joke.

I thought you looked lovely today, I love your hair style and colour it really suits you and those gorgeous earrings too. Right that’s enough of the flattery, I agree the world is a frightening place, I am so anxious for our beautiful planet, I love connecting with nature, I’m fortunate enough to live in the countryside in Cornwall I’m surrounded by trees, I’m to old at 76 to buy land and create a woodland and I have never had enough money to buy a piece of land when I was young enough, but I applaud you for doing that and maybe inspiring other’s who maybe in that position to do just that. I must try the meditation thing I feel I need to find a way to rid my head of this anxiety . Wandering round your woodland is the best way to start my day so thank you for sharing it all with us.its nice to see little Patsy living her best life with you too.❤️

I agree Collette, I would find it very easy to rant in my videos. Everything just seems so dreadful at the moment, so I tend to hide away and just concentrate on the little things I can do to help nature and wildlife. With warm greetings from South Wales.

Self care is something that women need to re learn.. What you are saying makes complete sense and even getting help for the bits in the garden work area that are needed but out of scale for one person to do themselves.. I look forward to some of your walkabouts .. I love walkabouts!

During the chaos in 2020, I made a vow to make my little corner of the world a little brighter. That might be planting beautiful flowers, going for a boat ride, decorating my home, painting my nails, watching beautiful YouTube videos or anything else that brings me joy. We need to enjoy more and stress less, cherish every moment no matter how simple or grand it may be.
