With The Invisible Man hitting theaters nationwide on February 28th, I got the chance to chat with writer-director Leigh Whannell who explained when he first came up with the idea for the movie, if there was any hesitation adapting an iconic story, and revealed the advice he'd give to other filmmakers who may make new movies for the Universal monsters in the future. This guy....this freaking guy right here. I didn’t even know he wrote and directed this. The invisible man is my favourite out of the old universal monsters and as much as I hate modernized more futuristic reboots of old school movies it worked well for this without being over the top and cliched. Props to this guy

that limey guy on twitter, I can't remember his name, it was 2 years ago, anyway, he was right about that scene in the invisible man. where she could of picked up the gun but didn't, and all of a sudden had incredible fighting skills.
